DF Williams is one of the oldest and most experienced professional cleaning companies in Oxford.  We take great pride in the fact that we are a local company, employing local people to service local businesses in Oxford and throughout Oxfordshire, thereby supporting the local economy.

Originally founded in 1978 by Dave Williams and Phil West, DF Williams has earned a strong reputation for delivering top quality, bespoke cleaning services to a plethora of local businesses and institutions including commercial offices, factories, warehouses, schools, colleges, medical institutions and many more.

We provide comprehensive work schedules for our operatives which are supported by a structured assessment process to guide their training and development.  This approach provides our clients with a stable and experienced workforce ensuring a consistent quality service.

Health & Safety

DF Williams regards safety as the most important factor within our business and is fully committed to our legal obligations. Our cleaning operatives are fully trained in all aspects of safety in the workplace, including working at height, and we continually monitor our procedures to reduce any possible hazards that may arise in the workplace. All the electrical equipment we use receives a thorough PAT safety test every 6 months and, in recognition of our exceptionally high standards in health and safety management, we are SafeContractor approved.

Quality Control

We operate a flat management structure which ensures that senior managers remain close to the clients, with regular direct contact and site visits to enable speed of decision making.

Assessments are undertaken with customers to evaluate our service and identify performance trends . These assessments form the basis for both the analysis of operative achievement and quality control.

We are bearers of the coveted ISO 14001 accreditation for Environmental Management.  This demonstrates to our clients that we’re constantly striving to reduce our carbon footprint and be kinder to our natural surroundings.

One of the many steps we have taken is to introduce a van replacement programme.  This will see us migrate our fleet of vans, used by employees in Oxford city centre, to electric vehicles.  Electric vehicles are greener and cleaner than those run on petrol and diesel, producing zero tailpipe emissions, and lowering greenhouse gases released into the environment.
